One of my first papercrafting goals is to create a stock of cards for those special occasions--thank you's, birthday wishes, Christmas cards, get well soon cards.
So, with that in mind, I took an issue of a card crafting mag that had folding features in it as inspiration and set out. I didn't want anything too girly, since I needed a thank you for my parents and one for LW's fiance. The papers are inexpensive ones from Wal-mart. If I had a do-over, I'd choose a lighter colored cardstock in order to have more contrast, but, next time I'll know!
